This post was intended as a sneak preview, but it ends up as more of a photographic essay of the experience of photographing three-year-old twins.
No doubt, they are beautiful children! And I couldn't be more impressed with the intelligence that their vocabulary indicates. Oh my, but they are bright, these two. We got lucky with shots like this one ...
But for every one of these shots, I have a couple of dozen with the opposite twin crossing in front of the lens at just the right wrong moment! And tons where one is looking one direction and the other is looking the opposite. All whilst sing-songing, "Cheeeeeeese -- eeeese --- eeeee ... Cheeeeee -- eeeese ---eeeeee ... "
I was reminded that boys will be boys ...
And girls will be girls ...
I needed Mom's help on more than one occasion, but perhaps none more so than on "Criss Cross AppleSauce" sitting.
And then, the hilarity ensued!
Phrases like "Stinky monkey feet" caused huge guffaws and subsequent raspberry-blowing!!
And sweet eyes like these caused my heart to pitter-patter ...
... caused me to put my camera away and carry the sweet, tired child back to the car! (While Mom carried the other one.)
Although M & N were wonderfully cooperative and I enjoyed our nature walk, I found a new respect for moms of twins! This mom does it well!
