It's no secret that we love salmon and are privileged to find wild Pacific in most of our grocery stores. I have several recipes for salmon on the blog already, but we tried a new one that I cut out of a Sunset magazine almost ten years ago!
I marinated it first in a mixture of brown sugar, white wine, and lemon juice. Then I boiled down the marinade, added a little butter to it, and used it as a basting sauce while the salmon cooked. It has a sweetness that is cut just a bit by the lemon juice and white wine and compliments the salmon beautifully.
